Since March, the pandemic situation has been accelerating. The demand for anti-epidemic products in many countries is increasing. In order to support the global fight against the pandemic and promote the matchmaking between the suppliers and buyers, the European American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ningbo Municipal Bureau Of Commerce PRC and Ningbo Enterprises Association for Foreign Economic Relations & Trade jointly held the "2020 Ningbo Export Commodities Global Online Exhibition (Anti-Epidemic Products Online Business Matchmaking)" on 20th April, which has achieved great success!



The European American Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized 42 buyers from 23 countries around the world to have video negotiation with 55 suppliers of anti-epidemic products from Ningbo by using the online conference system, and conducted a total of more than 160 point-to-point video business discussions. The anti-epidemic Products will be exported to the United States, Canada, Germany, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine, New Zealand, Colombia, Mexico, Bangladesh, Australia, Chile, Panama, India, Pakistan, Israel, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia The UAE, Africa, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Libya and other countries and regions.

The main demand products are: different types of masks, protective clothing, goggles, eye masks, medical gloves, ventilators, disinfectant, hand sanitizers, etc. The purchase quantity of masks exceeds 20 million US dollars, and the purchase amount exceeds 40 million US dollars.In the matchmaking meeting was also equipped with international trade third-party service providers related to financing, credit insurance, logistics, quality control, certificates.After the event, buyers from all over the world praised the event, saying that the event was very effective and accurate to help them connect with the suppliers of anti-epidemic products online, communicate "face-to-face" online and directly discuss various issues in trade with companies which was simple and efficient.The participating suppliers also expressed great satisfaction with the event. They were all directly connected with foreign buyers. The buyer's purchasing need was very clear, which saved a lot of energy and time.

This is a bold innovation and attempt by EAcham to support anti-epidemic, promote export and break the space limitation during the  pandemic situation!

From March, European American Chamber of Commerce and industry have received requests from foreign businessmen and members around the world. 

At the same time, the “United Office Platform of Global Chambers”led by the Beijing Representative Office of the  European American Chamber of Commerce and industry (Belgium) also received joint requests from chambers of Commerce from different countries and foreign non-governmental organizations, hoping to connect with Chinese suppliers of anti-epidemic products to fight against the global pandemic.

In the face of the pandemic situation, EAcham took action immediately to help foreign buyers to connect with Chinese suppliers. EAcham has successfully helped several foreign governments to purchase anti-epidemic products. In accordance with the strict requirements of the Chinese customs and the requirements of the destination country, EAcham will continue to connect Chinese suppliers for governments and organizations of different countries around the world.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, European American Chamber of Commerce and Industry has actively explored, innovated mode and taken many measures simultaneously, successively launched new online models such as "foreign trade eye", "online exhibition" and "online procurement fair" aimed at expanding international trade, closely centering on the service concept of "helping manufacturing industry and increasing export", giving full play to the advantages of international resources, breaking the epidemic restrictions and carrying out various online innovation events, aiming to build more communication platforms and cooperation opportunities for trading companies, help them to explore international markets and make positive contributions to "stabilizing international trade".

According to the latest news from the Ministry of Commerce, the 127th China Import and Export Fair (i.e. Canton Fair) will be held online from June 15 to 24 for 10 days due to the pandemic. It will be the first time in more than 60 years that China's oldest trade event has been held online.
