A large number of overseas buyers, continuously impacted by the epidemic, have been unable to enter China to search for new products or to inspect and purchase during the exhibitions. In the environment of multiple uncertainties caused by the epidemic in 2022, in order to deepen and strengthen the cooperation between suppliers and buyers, EAcham and the CIFF Organizing Committee have launched the "8+365" Plan which combines online matching meetings and an 8-day offline exhibition of two phases in the circumstance of the regular epidemic prevention and control, and have striven to build a platform for exhibitor enterprises to acquire more overseas buyer resources.
To implement the "8+365" Plan, EAcham and the CIFF workforce continued to organize the 8+365 series of special online trade matching meetings before the opening of the China (Guangzhou) International Furniture Fair. Upholstered Furniture, Living Room & Dining Room Furniture Session, Textile and Home Decoration Session and Outdoor Furniture Session were respectively held for Chinese and foreign enterprises to break the limitations of time, space and venue, attracting 35 overseas professional buyers from 24 different countries. The person-in-charge of RELIANCE RETAIL LIMITED, an Indian company from the world's top 500 companies, who plans to order, was also attracted to negotiate with the suppliers in detail. Considering the time difference between different countries and regions, a special matching meeting for Americas was held, with a total of more than 160 rounds of one-on-one effective negotiations.

On July 17th, 2022, China (Guangzhou) International Furniture Fair was held in Guangzhou. 30 representatives of overseas buyers from 18 countries around the world, invited by EAcham and the CIFF workforce together, came in person to participate in the business matching activity and visited the pavilion. During the exhibition, the communication between China and foreign enterprises was warm, and on-site discussions continued, which made the exhibition popular. At the same time, on July 19th, 2022, a special online matching meeting for civilian use furniture was held in conjunction with the physical exhibition, thus a cloud bridge of business cooperation was built for overseas merchants who cannot visit the scene in person to share the opportunities of the "dual circulation" development pattern!
The launch of "8+365" Plan has transformed CIFF's exhibitors into anchors. Thanks to samples, videos, online factory visits, live-streamed explanations as well as personal demonstrations, overseas buyers are allowed to fully understand corporate brands and products and to entrust purchasing agents to conduct specific procurement docking. The realization of the interaction between the cloud and the offline entities is greatly appreciated by Chinese and foreign enterprises.
After the successful conclusion of the 49th China (Guangzhou) International Civilian Furniture Expo from July 17th to July 20th, the Office Environment and Commercial Space Exhibition will be held from July 26th to July 29th! On July 28th, the work teams of both sides will continue to adopt online and offline linkages.
