The opening of an airport on Sunday in Central China's Hubei province marks a step toward prioritizing airfreight transportation, with Asia's first and the world's fourth air cargo transportation hub.The specialized center is also meant to help boost the industry's recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Boeing 767-300 cargo plane took off from the Ezhou Huahu Airport in central China's Hubei Province at 11:36am Sunday, marking the official start of operations of China's first professional cargo hub airport. Located in the city of Ezhou, it is also the first professional cargo hub airport in Asia and the fourth of its kind in the world.

D Universe, a world's first city-level design metaverse platform, made its debut in Shanghai this week.It will boost design, fashion, digitalization development and integration in the city.The platform covering five sectors – fashion, industrial, architecture, digital and service, made its global debut on Friday. It will boost the digital economy and Shanghai's plan for a global City of Design, said the Shanghai Commission of Economy and Informatization.
