The China-developed BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) has been deeply integrated into diverse industries and is fully serving the country's socioeconomic development. The BDS has shown its enhanced power in driving China's socioeconomic development, with its continuously expanding depth and width of application, according to the China Satellite Navigation Office.

The Chinese mainland on Sunday reported 401 confirmed local COVID-19 cases, of which 322 were in Shanghai, the National Health Commission said on Monday.Apart from Shanghai, six other provincial-level regions on the mainland saw new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, including 33 in Beijing and 28 in Guangdong.

China will have 5.5 million nurses by 2025, according to a new plan released by the National Health Commission.There will be an average of 3.8 registered nurses for every 1,000 people by 2025, the development plan for nursing showed.

China's foreign trade grew by 7.9 percent to 12.58 trillion yuan ($1.88 trillion) in the first four months of 2022, official data showed on Monday. Exports over the period surged 10.3 percent year-on-year to 6.97 trillion yuan, while imports hit 5.61 trillion yuan, growing 5 percent on a yearly basis, the General Administration of Customs said.
