China's mobile gaming market recorded a growth in revenue in January, data from a recent industry report showed. The sales revenue of the market reached about 22.24 billion yuan ($3.51 billion) last month, up 17.76 percent year-on-year, said the report released by CNG, a research institute on the gaming industry.

China's tablet computer shipments expanded 21.8 percent year-on-year in 2021, the highest growth rate in nearly seven years, said an industry report. Tablet computer shipments totaled around 28.46 million units, according to the industry report published by the global market research firm International Data Corporation (IDC).

The Chinese mainland on Monday reported 59 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, the National Health Commission said on Tuesday. Of the new local infections, 20 were reported in Inner Mongolia, 12 in Jiangsu, six in Liaoning, five each in Sichuan and Yunnan, four each in Beijing and Hubei, and three in Guangdong, the commission said in its daily report.

A regulation protecting the rights and interests of foreign investors will take effect on March 1 in Guangdong province, according to the local legislature.The regulation, which was approved in January, requires equal treatment for foreign and domestic investments.

China will roll out targeted measures to help small and medium-sized enterprises tide over difficulties, a senior official with the Ministry of Finance said Tuesday. As a major impetus for economic and social development, SMEs play an irreplaceable role in increasing employment, improving people's livelihood and promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, Yu Weiping, vice finance minister, told a press conference.

China's urbanization rate of permanent residence hit 64.72 percent in 2021, according to the country's top economic planner. Over the past year, the country has seen an accelerated trend of rural residents moving to cities, said the National Development and Reform Commission.

SF Airlines, China's largest air-cargo carrier, will see the size of its all-cargo freighter fleet exceed 70 aircrafts in 2022, the airline said on Monday. The data was released as the airline welcomed a B767-300BCF wide-body all-cargo freighter to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport on Monday. It is the 69th member of the SF Airlines fleet, and the first new member to join the fleet this year, said SF Airlines.
