The three Chinese astronauts onboard the Shenzhou-12 spaceship entered the country's space station core module Tianhe on Thursday, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).After Shenzhou-12 successfully completed a fast automated rendezvous and docking with the orbiting Tianhe module, the Shenzhou-12 crew entered the orbital capsule from the return capsule of the spaceship.

China will further shorten its negative lists for foreign investments amid efforts to open up the economy, the country's top economic planner said on Thursday. The National Development and Reform Commission is working with other departments on formulating the new negative lists that identify the sectors that are off-limits for foreign investment, said Meng Wei, a spokesperson with the commission.

The Chinese mainland on Wednesday reported four new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, all reported in Guangdong Province, the National Health Commission said in its daily report on Thursday.Also newly reported were 15 imported cases, of which three each were reported in Fujian, Guangdong and Yunnan, two in Shanghai, and one each in Beijing, Jiangsu, Hubei and Sichuan.

Foreign investment has continued to flow into China's high-tech industries, the People's Daily reported on Tuesday.From January to May, the actual use of foreign investment in China's high-tech industries increased 34.6 percent with foreign investment in the high-tech service industry and high-tech manufacturing industry up 37.6 percent and 25 percent, respectively, according to data from the Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
