About Canton Fair

The Canton Fair or China Import and Export Fair, is a trade fair held in the spring and autumn seasons each year since the spring of 1957 in Canton (Guangzhou), China. It is the oldest, largest, and the most representative trade fair in China.

Its full name since 2007 has been China Import and Export Fair, renamed from Chinese Export Commodities Fair  The fair is co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the government of Guangdong Province, and organized by China Foreign Trade Centre.

Buyers Can Get a Purchase Subsidy of 400,000 Yuan in Yiwu!

On Feb. 22, Yiwu announced gold-medal-level foreign purchasers have the priority to apply for permanent residence permit in China, silver-medal-level purchasers can be recommended to apply for five-year work residence permit, and silver-medal-level and above purchasers are able to apply for an F visa. Additionally, gold-medal-level and silver-medal-level purchasers can respectively enjoy house purchase subsidies of 400,000 Yuan and 300,000 Yuan, and for their children's enrollment they can refer to the preferential policies for class I, class II and class III talent respectively.

According to CCTV on Feb. 22, a Shanghai based company has developed the first domestic mask that can be recycled, sterilized and it's filtering is as good as a N95 mask. The mask uses new nano materials to achieve such features. It has been put into mass production and will be put on the market as soon as next week.

Fully Resumed Production

霍尼韦尔一边帮助抗击疫情，一边也在积极恢复生产。根据中国各地政府的相关规定，霍尼韦尔在华的21家工厂已经全面复工。截至目前，霍尼韦尔在中国的11000名员工无一感染。

Honeywell has not only been supporting the fight against the coronavirus, but also has been actively resuming production.  According to the relevant rules and regulations of Chinese central and local governments, Honeywell's 21 plants across China have fully resumed production. So far, there is no single affected case among Honeywell’s 11,000 employees in China.

霍尼韦尔目前的产能恢复情况良好，同时积极支持其核心供应商早日复工。与此同时和供应商和客户密切合作，以解决任何潜在的问题。

Currently, Honeywell’s plants are running almost at full capacities, and the company has been actively supporting its key suppliers to resume work. Meanwhile, Honeywell has been closely working with its suppliers and customers to address any potential disruptions.

针对工厂以外的办公室人员，除湖北外，霍尼韦尔鼓励经理和主管以及有自驾车而无需搭乘公共交通的同事们在办公室工作至少一天。同每个工厂一样，同样在各个办公室区域做好了大量的防护措施。

For office employees, except Hubei, Honeywell encourages managers and supervisors, as well as employees who drive to work without relying on public transportation, to work in the office for at least one day. Similar to each plant, a large number of protective measures have been deployed in various office areas.

在霍尼韦尔工厂，每天更新“入厂凭证”，凭证入厂，进入公司前接受体温检测。

At Honeywell plants, the "entry certificate" is updated daily. Employees need the certificate to enter into plants and undergo temperature checks before entering the company.

霍尼韦尔安全与生产力解决方案集团中国区工厂总经理涂赟说： “我们有信心在三月份，把二月份丢失的这部分产能，能够在三月份追回来。我们的中国团队很棒。”

“We are confident that in March we will be able to restore the lost production capacity in February. Our China’s team does a great job.” said Tu Yun, senior plant director for Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions China.

卡特彼勒大部分工厂已恢复运营

Most Of Caterpillar Plants In China 

Have Resumed 

依据中国地方政府的批复，卡特彼勒在中国的大部分工厂的运营已于2月10日恢复。

Per local Chinese government direction, most of Caterpillar's Chinese operations reopened February 10.

卡特彼勒目前在中国约有20家制造工厂，员工超过11000人。

Today, Caterpillar operates about 20 manufacturing plants across China, with more than 11,000 employees.

卡特彼勒全球副总裁陈其华表示：“在确保卡特彼勒员工的安全和健康始终作为我们工作重心的同时，我们将听从政府关于企业复工的指示， 每天认真做好监测，确保员工健康和安全。”

"Be assured, the safety and well-being of our employees remains our top priority. We continue to follow government direction on remaining openings and assess daily to ensure the safety of our employees.  ”said Qihua Chen, Caterpillar Vice President for China Operations.

“我们坚信，中国终将打赢这场艰难的战‘疫’。我们将继续与客户和产业链合作伙伴一起共同努力，建设一个更加美好的世界。”
