A proposal on the joint promotion of culture and tourism between Shanghai and six "Belt and Road' sister cities was signed on Friday. The six cities are Chiang Mai and Bangkok in Thailand, Budapest in Hungary, Phnom Penh in Cambodia, Metropolitan Manila of the Philippines and Jeollanam-do in South Korea.
