China's telecommunication giant Huawei has launched the second edition of the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Competition in Lusaka, the Zambian capital.

A total of 429 firms listed on China's National Equities Exchange and Quotations, also known as the "new third board," have met the financial standards for "little giants," industrial data showed.

BreadTalk and Song Fa have launched their first restaurant in northern China at Beijing’s APM Mall. Saturday’s opening follows the successful launch of the first Song Fa restaurant in Shanghai Jing An Kerry Center in January last year, where it averaged RMB1 million (US$145,570) in monthly sales. 

Chinese online retail platform JD is acquiring 9 percent of Beijing Digital Telecom. The consumer electronics retailer, which operates from around 3000 physical stores throughout China selling predominantly phones and computers, will expand JD’s offline presence within the market, including lower-tier cities.
