Guangzhou plans to build the world's first automated unmanned parallel container quay for the fourth phase construction of the Nansha area of Guangzhou Port by 2021.

Huawei Technologies Co Ltd said on Tuesday it plans to invest 3 billion yuan ($436 million) over the next five years to build an ecosystem for its ARM-based server chips as the Chinese company beefs up its prowess in semiconductors.

China is confident of achieving its annual industrial growth target of 5.5 to 6 percent year-on-year in 2019, as the nation works hard to boost the high-quality development of manufacturing, despite trade friction with the United States, the nation's top industry regulator said on Tuesday.
