On 29th February, Lv Wei, Executive Secretary General of the European-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EAcham), and his delegation paid a visit to CCPIT Machinery Sub-Council to have an in-depth exchange on the future cooperation between the two parties. The purpose of this exchange is to enhance mutual understanding and explore opportunities for cooperation.

Zhou Haiming, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Machinery Sub-Council, warmly welcomed the visit of Euromedicine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and both parties had extensive and in-depth discussions on the content and mode of future co-operation.

Lv Wei, Executive Secretary General of Euromedica Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that this visit is to further understand the development status and trend of CCPIT Machinery Industry Sub-Council in China, as well as to seek opportunities for co-operation with the Chinese side in the relevant fields. They believe that by strengthening the communication and cooperation between this time, they can build a platform for the exchange and cooperation between Chinese machinery industry and European enterprises in related fields, and promote the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides in the fields of machinery, infrastructure construction and so on.

Zhou Haiming, Vice President of CCPIT Machinery Industry Sub-Council, said that CCPIT Machinery Industry Sub-Council is very willing to work with the European and American Chambers of Commerce and Industry to play a role in their respective fields of expertise, in order to bring the machinery industry into line with the world, and strive to optimise the industry's development, and the world's common prosperity and other aspects of the joint efforts.

The two sides also carried out in-depth exchanges on other issues of common concern, including the main mechanism of CCPIT Machinery Sub-Council, the main activities of each year and other aspects. Both sides agreed that strengthening communication and cooperation is an important way to promote the development of the relationship between Chinese and European machinery industry enterprises, and expressed that they will continue to maintain close contact and jointly make positive contributions to the development of cooperation between Chinese and European machinery industry enterprises.

This visit has deepened the understanding and mutual trust between the European and American Chamber of Commerce and Industry and CCPIT Machinery Sub-Council, and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides. Both sides expect that under joint efforts, they can work hand in hand in future activities and become an important platform for exchanges and co-operation between Chinese and European enterprises in the machinery industry, and jointly promote the economic and trade relations between China and Europe to a new level.
