Landmark Algerian highway built to connect 17 provinces has been completed with China's CITIC Construction delivering its final 84-km segment on Saturday.As the final leg of the ambitious East-West Highway project, the 84-km project stretches from Drean in the easternmost province of El Tarf to the town of Raml Souk bordering Tunisia.

China's power battery output saw rapid expansion in July, industry data showed.The power battery output stood at 61 gigawatt-hours(GWh) last month, up 28.9 percent year-on-year, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed.

Tesla cars are banned from parking at Yueyang Sanhe Airport in Yueyang, Hunan province, due to confidentiality concerns, airport officials said on Sunday.A video circulating online showed a "No Tesla" sign at the entrance of the airport's parking lot. A service worker at the airport confirmed to Jiupai News in Hubei province that the rule has been in effect for months.

Most of the capital goods monitored by China's statistical authorities registered higher prices in early August compared with late July, official data showed Monday.Of the 50 major goods classified in nine categories, including seamless steel tubes, gasoline, coal, fertilizer and some chemicals, 31 reported higher prices in the period, 15 saw price declines, while the prices of four remained unchanged, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

Chinese property developer Country Garden announced the suspension of trading of a number of its onshore corporate bonds on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange starting from Aug 14, with the resumption time to be decided later, the Hong Kong-listed real estate company said on late Saturday night.
