China's service trade has witnessed rapid development from 2012 to 2021, Xinhua reported on Wednesday. The imports and exports of China's service trade witnessed a 6.1 percent average annual growth from 2012 to 2021, 3.1 percentage points higher than that of the globe during the same period.

The Chinese mainland on Wednesday reported 345 locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases, of which 217 were in Hainan Province, the National Health Commission said on Thursday. Altogether 1,289 local asymptomatic carriers were newly identified on Wednesday, including 521 in Tibet and 309 in Hainan, said the commission in its report.

South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region saw its foreign trade volume reach 61.56 billion yuan ($9 billion) in July, up 18.8 percent year-on-year, according to the regional commerce department. This is a record-high figure in terms of the region's import and export volume in a single month.
