Under the guidance of Shanghai Qingpu District Commerce Commission and Shanghai West Hongqiao Business Development Co., Ltd., the United Office Platform of Global Chambers and European American Chamber of Commerce and Industry actively participated in the work of the CIIE. In order to promote the 2022 CIIE, on May 16, 2022, the China International Import Expo Bureau and European American Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly organized an online promotion meeting for the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE), in which more than 40 representatives of embassies, consulates and overseas Chambers and over 30 foreign enterprise representatives participated in this conference online.

 Ms. Gao Ying, Chairwoman and Founder of European American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that since the first Fair, European American Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been actively promoting and participating in the CIIE's recruitment and promotion. This year, EAcham plans to organize overseas exhibitors in the agricultural products and consumer goods exhibition areas, and combine the advantages of itself and the United Office Platform of Global Chambers to provide better services for foreign exhibitors and visitors to the 5^th CIIE, including providing product promotion channels for member companies that are unable to visit China during the CIIE due to the pandemic. Mr. Li Shengjin, Deputy Secretary General of European American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, introduced the specific booth planning and supporting services for 2022 CIIE.

As a representative of the overseas exhibitors, Mr.Imran, CEO of ASIYA International Trading Company, which has participated in the Fair for four consecutive years, shared his experience and achievements of previous participation. Moreover, Mr. Wang Jun, Chairman of Zhongnongpi (Tianjin) International Frozen Products Trading Market Co., Ltd., which has participated in the Fair for three consecutive years, spoke as a representative of CIIE buyers and expressed his company’s intentions to cooperate with European American Chamber of Commerce and Industry to jointly help exhibitors develop the Chinese market.

The head of the Recruitment Office of the China International Import Expo Bureau and the staffs of the National Exhibition Convention Centre (Shanghai) made presentations on the progress of recruitment work and exhibition area of the 5th CIIE respectively.

At present, the exhibition area confirmed by our platform is about 400 square meters. We look forward to joining hands with more overseas enterprises to participate in this year's CIIE and bring more overseas high-quality products to the Chinese market.
