North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region saw its exports grow 20.9 percent year-on-year in the first quarter (Q1) of the year, according to the local customs. The region's foreign trade totaled 29.8 billion yuan ($4.6 billion) in Q1, of which the export value reached 13.1 billion yuan, according to the customs of Hohhot, the regional capital.
