China (Guangdong) International Internet Plus Exposition was established in 2015 and has been successfully held for five years. The exhibition this time will focus on the promotion of cross-border Integration and Innovation of traditional manufacturing and the Internet, and promotion and application of manufacturing patterns such as “Made in China 2025”, “German Industry 4.0”, and “American Industrial Internet”. About Foshan

Foshan is located in the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta, and together with Guangzhou constitutes the "Guangzhou-Foshan Metropolitan Area" and one of the three poles of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In 2019, Foshan achieved a regional GDP of 1,075.1 billion yuan and became the 17th member of the domestic city trillion club; the total industrial output value of above designated size was 2.32 trillion yuan, ranking 6th among cities in the country. In 2019, advanced manufacturing and equipment manufacturing accounted for 49.9% and 31.2% of the added value of industries above designated size, respectively. Foshan's GDP in 2020 will break another trillion yuan, and the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size will reach 492.488 billion yuan, an increase of 2.2%; the total import and export volume will reach 506.03 billion yuan, an increase of 4.8% year-on-year. Foshan has demonstrated strong economic resilience. A large number of outstanding enterprises have grown against the trend. The total market value of listed companies has exceeded 2 trillion yuan, and the total number of national high-tech enterprises has reached 5,718. The increase in enterprises is the first in the province's prefecture-level cities.
