The Chinese mainland reported 1,318 new locally-transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases on Saturday, down from 1,334 on Friday, the National Health Commission said Sunday. Shanghai reported 1,006 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, 23,937 local asymptomatic infections, nine imported patients and two imported asymptomatic infections on Saturday, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Sunday morning.
