Airbus plans to deliver the 600th A320 family aircraft assembled at its Asia final assembly line in North China's Tianjin municipality in 2022, according to Airbus China Friday. Airbus is ramping up production of the single-aisle A320 series aircraft to meet demands from the global market. The Tianjin final assembly line is also adapting to serve the recovering Chinese civil aviation market better, said George Xu, executive vice president Airbus and chief executive officer of Airbus China.

China will take solid steps to promote common prosperity as part of the country's larger drive to improve well-being and deal with imbalances in development, the country's top economic regulator said on Thursday.

Chinese banks will increase innovative financial products and services offered to technologically advanced companies, in line with the country's pursuit of high-quality development. Efforts in that direction are intensifying already. For instance, China Construction Bank Corp Jiangsu Branch extended a 154 million yuan ($24.22 million) loan to China Lithium Battery Technology Co Ltd, for a lithium battery project after assessing the company's innovation capacity.

The renminbi saw its share of global payments by value hit a record high of 3.2 percent in January, up from 2.7 percent in December. This helped the Chinese currency to retain fourth place in the global list, behind the US dollar, the euro and the British pound.

China's Ministry of Commerce on Thursday urged India to improve its business environment and treat all foreign investors, including Chinese companies, in a fair, transparent and non-discriminatory manner.
