United Office Platform of Global Chambers (GCP) initiated in Dec. 2019, supported and supervised by Dept. of Trade in Service & Commercial Service of Ministry of Commerce, PRC and Municipal Commission of Commerce of Qingpu District Shanghai, locates at Office Building B of National Exhibition & Convention Center (NECC) where is permanent location of China International Import Expo (CIIE).

The establishment of "United Office Platform of Global Chambers" is to amplify the spillover effect of China International Import Expo, and is a one-stop and all-round business service platform operated to meet the practical needs of the representative offices of overseas non-governmental organizations in China to carry out economic and trade activities in accordance with the law.

The GCP aims to facilitate the majority of overseas non-governmental organizations of commerce and trade to actively participate in the CIIE, help their overseas member enterprises to invest and carry out economic and trade exchanges in China and provide services on the premise of meeting the requirements of relevant Chinese laws and regulations.

Free office space for three years, activity subsidies of up to 500,000 yuan and assistance in registering a Chinese representative office in Shanghai will be provided by Shanghai government. 

There are 8 independent office suites, decorated into 41 private office rooms, 200 dedicated desks contained, in total of 1200 sq. meters in United Office Platform of Global Chambers. In 2022, it will be expanded to 2000 sq. meters. At present, 11 overseas NGOs from Belgium, Romania, Serbia, Australia, Mongolia, Portugal, Russia, Armenia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia have settled down on GCP. GCP is helping these overseas NGOs register representative office in China. Within three years, the GCP will introduce more than 50 overseas NGOs to settle in.

After the unremitting efforts of United Office Platform of Global Chambers, Representative Office of Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Serbia Shanghai and Australian Asian Commerce Council Inc. Shanghai Representative Office introduced by GCP officially obtained the registration certificate, and the leader of the Overseas Non-Governmental Organization Management Office of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau issued the registration certificate to them.

Yang Xiaojing, head of Qingpu District, Shanghai, Jin Junfeng, deputy head of Qingpu District, Zhang Jun, director of the District Commission of Commerce, Lu Yong, deputy director, Gu Lianyun, Chairman of West Hongqiao company, Xie Ming, general manager, and other district leaders had an official meeting with Gao Ying, Chairwoman of European American Chamber of Commerce & Industry, head of the United Office Platform of Global Chambers, and the Chief Representative of the Shanghai Representative Office of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Chief Representative of the Shanghai Representative Office of the Romanian Federation of Commerce and the Chief Representative of the Shanghai Representative Office of the Gyeonggi Institute of Economic Sciences of Korea.
