China's centrally-administered state-owned enterprises saw robust growth in net profits in the first 11 months of the year, said the country's top state assets regulator on Saturday. During the January-November period, net profits of central SOEs expanded to 1.75 trillion yuan (about $274.94 billion), according to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.

The Chinese mainland on Saturday reported 44 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, the National Health Commission said in its daily report on Sunday.Of the new local cases, 31 were reported in Zhejiang, 10 in Shaanxi, and three in Guangdong, the commission said.
