In order to further assist Chinese traders in overcoming the difficulties encountered in importing and exporting products from Cote d'Ivoire and to promote trade cooperation between China and Cote d'Ivoire, The Eurpean-American Chamber of Commerce  and Industry, in collaboration with its managing member - GUANXI MANAGEMENT, and the General Administration of Customs of Côte d'Ivoire, jointly organized this online seminar which focused on the detailed sharing of customs clearance procedures of import and export from Côte d'Ivoire for trade operators.

Ms. Gao Ying, chairwoman of European American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, attended the meeting and delivered an opening speech. In her speech,Ms Gao Ying said that EAcham will continue to work hard in the future to continuously promote better trade exchange and cooperation between Cote d'Ivoire and China.

Colonel Aké Léopold, the representative of the Ivorian Customs Director General, also expressed satisfaction with this meeting. He said that this webinar was held in a timely manner because it allowed Chinese economic operators to understand the customs administrative procedures that facilitate their customs clearance business. In addition, Colonel Ackleopold also pointed that China is considered a privileged economic partner of the Ivory Coast.

代表阿比让自治港和特殊服务的海关总署署长 Amian Lucien 上校介绍了可以促进通过科特迪瓦海关货物运输的不同清关程序和方式。同时他告诉在场的进出口商被要求在阿比让港进行清关的货物，必须具有先前更新的文件并符合海关行政当局预先制定的标准。除了这些信息，Amian Lucien 上校还敦促他们定期缴纳税款和关税。在本次网络研讨会结束时，Anne-Marie Dibi 上校还呼吁中国公司遵守海关管理规定，这必将促进两国之间的贸易。

For the fifth consecutive year, China has become Côte d’Ivoire’s most important import partner (US$2.3 billion in 2020, 24%), followed by France (13.2%) and Nigeria (8.8%).
