On Sept 16, XCMG Excavator Machinery delivered its 200,000th excavator, an XE380DK hydraulic excavator, in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province, which means that XCMG has manufactured and sold 200,000 excavators within the shortest 13 years in the world. The much-heralded Guangzhou Metro Line 18 has finally been put into service after due tests. From 14:00 September 28, the 160 km/h trains on the line have begun to roar from Nansha District to downtown Guangzhou, taking as little as 30 minutes.

The 130th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will be held in the Canton Fair Complex on October 15 to 19, 2021. In order to ensure a smooth flow of traffic during the fair, Guangzhou will implement temporary traffic restrictions in areas around the Canton Fair Complex, for instance, certain vehicles are forbidden in following areas between 7:00 and 20:00.

The Chinese mainland on Monday reported 13 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, the National Health Commission said in its daily report on Tuesday.Of the new local cases, 11 were reported in Heilongjiang and two in Fujian.

Chinese investors from the mainland will become more integrated into the international bond market through a new program allowing bond purchases in Hong Kong's offshore market. The program will also encourage the market's overseas bond issuance over time, analysts said.
