Postal Savings Bank of China Co recorded a net profit of 41.24 billion yuan ($6.37 billion) in the first half of this year, representing an increase of 22.48 percent year-on-year. During the period, the large State-owned commercial lender continued to improve its profitability. Net interest income hit 132.1 billion yuan in the first half, up 6.19 percent year-on-year, and net fee and commission income reached 11.43 billion yuan, rising significantly by 37.86 percent.
