The Chinese economy is staging impressive recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic shock, bolstered by the country's effective control of the novel coronavirus, a renowned US economist said.

China's robust economic growth in the third quarter this year is the outcome of the coordinated efforts under the guidance and support of the government amid the effective control of COVID-19, a Pakistani scholar said.
