Chinese manufacturers should step up efforts to be "greener" amid the tightened access to international markets and growing pressure in supply chain, an industry expert said. According to Shi Yiming,chief analyst with Made-in-China.com, a B2B e-commerce platform, Chinese manufacturers should further improve degradation of raw materials, quicken the transformation of environment-friendly plants and use more of clean energy in the manufacturing process.
