China Tower, China's telecoms tower infrastructure services provider, saw its net profit surge 110.6 percent year-on-year in the first half of 2019, amid 5G market opportunities.

According to the Guizhou Telecommunication Administration, 5G commercial trial service will be launched in 2019. By 2020, the construction of a 5G network covering major urban areas of all cities and prefectures in Guizhou will be completed, and 5G commercial service will be operated on a large scale.
